Newcastle Health Visitor Services

The health visiting and school health service works with families to support children and young people's development (ages 0 to 19), providing additional support, or information to help people find more support, when it is needed.

We aim to provide a health support service for children, young people and their families in all areas of their lives.

The services we provide are for children and young people from age 0 to 19. They include:

  • Six week visits
  • Three to four month contact at home/clinic
  • 9 to 12 month contact at home/clinic
  • 24 to 30 month contact at home/clinic
  • Hello-Goodbye transition to school
